CATAMARANS AND BARGES

KINGFISHER BAY RESORT CATAMARAN SERVICE

Kingfisher Bay has 4 catamaran services to the resort each day from Urangan Boat Harbour in Hervey Bay. You’ll leave the bustling Urangan Harbour and its pelican population behind on the leisurely 45 minute cruise across the Great Sandy Strait.

FRASER ISLAND BARGES SERVICE

Fraser Island Barges runs daily services to Wanggoolba Creek and Kingfisher Bay Resort from River Heads. The journey is approximately 30 minutes.

Daily barge transfers are also available from Inskip Point at Rainbow Beach between dawn and dusk, landing at the most Southern tip of Fraser, Hook Point. Crossing time from Inskip Point takes approximately 10 minutes.

All transfers time are subject to changes without advance notice. Please check with reservationss at the time of booking for the current schedule.
